What is the Life Story worksheet?
The life story worksheet splits a life into three sections: Earlier Years, Present and Years Ahead. Each carries four questions and a space to give that period a title. It opens with What is your earliest memory? and closes on the legacy the client wants to leave.
How to use the Life Story worksheet
Use it both in session and as homework, one section at a time rather than all three at once. Earlier Years asks who the important people were and what challenges were overcome, so it often needs the most room. Give this time in your life a title is the line that does the work, because naming a period is what turns events into a story. Your clients can complete Years Ahead last, once the earlier titles are settled.
