What is the Anger Coping Skills for Kids worksheet?

The Anger Coping Skills for Kids worksheet is a single illustrated page. Two open prompts anchor the sheet: How do you feel when you’re angry? and What do you do when you’re angry? Six pictured strategies sit under How to cope with anger, beginning with Walk away and Deep breathe.

How to use the Anger Coping Skills for Kids worksheet

Use this sheet both in session and as homework with a parent present. Start with What do you do when you’re angry? before the coping list. The child then names their current behavior rather than picking the answer an adult wants. Then have them circle two of the six pictures. Your clients can practice Deep breathe and Walk away at home during the week, with the parent naming the skill out loud.
