Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS + Kubernetes)

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and scale the core infrastructure on AWS to support a rapidly growing user base.
• Maintain, improve, and be fully responsible for SOC2 compliance, ensuring standards are consistently met across all infrastructure components.
• Integrate DevOps practices into the development lifecycle, driving automation with CI/CD, containerization, and infrastructure as code.
• Optimize the performance of our Kubernetes cluster and other AI services to enhance efficiency and scalability.
• Implement and expand observability, logging and alerting stacks across infrastructure and to internal stakeholders.
• Own system architecture and strategic planning, collaborating with Product Managers and business leaders to align technical strategy with business goals.

Requirements:

• Proven track record of scaling and optimizing large-scale, high-availability applications in dynamic, fast-growth environments, with a focus on compliance and security.
• Extensive experience building scalable AWS infrastructure with services such as EC2, S3, Cloudfront, ELB, Lambda, CloudWatch, VPC, ECR, and RDBS.
• Mastery of DevOps tools and best practices, including Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Full responsibility for deploying and optimizing server infrastructure, ideally on NodeJS.
• Experience setting up observability dashboards and alerting for proactive monitoring using Prometheus, Grafana, AWS CloudWatch, and ELK stack.
• Proven experience optimizing costs, improving performance, and ensuring system reliability.
• Previous experience setting up or maintaining SOC2 compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

Nice to Have:

• Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer.
• Experience with MlOps and model performance optimization.
• Familiarity with other security and compliance standards beyond SOC2 (eg. ISO27001)
• Experience with transcription services and technologies.
