What is the Emotion Faces worksheet?

The free printable emotion faces pdf free download gives clients two pages of labeled cartoon faces to point at instead of naming a feeling aloud. Labels run from Sad, Angry and Scared to Ebullience, Apathetic and Awe. Clients circle the face that matches the day.

How to use the Emotion Faces worksheet

Use it both in session and as homework. In session, ask the client to circle one face before you ask any questions, so the choice is not shaped by the conversation. Then ask what separates the face they picked from a nearby one, such as Annoyed against On Edge. Your clients can keep a copy at home and circle a face each evening, which builds a week of data. The sheet is a starting vocabulary, not an assessment.
