UX Researcher and Designer

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive research on industry trends, competitors, and user needs to inform product strategy and design.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain design documentation, including user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and design specifications.
  • Create accessible and user-friendly interfaces for mental health professionals on both mobile and desktop platforms.
  • Conduct usability testing, gather user feedback, and use data analysis to enhance Mentalyc's effectiveness and user experience.
  • Communicate product updates and collaborate with the marketing team on promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in AI technology and mental health practices to ensure Mentalyc's offerings remain relevant and innovative.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in UX design, research, or related fields
  • Degree in design, human-computer interaction, psychology, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Figma, wireframes, mockups, and UX/UI design principles
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Hotjar)
  • Hypothesis-based thinking and structured problem-solving abilities
  • Experience in survey development, analysis, and user interviews
  • Hands-on approach and willingness to engage in both design and management tasks
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, InVision, or prototyping tools
  • Knowledge of Agile or Scrum project management methodologies
  • Proven collaboration skills in cross-functional teams
  • Understanding of user-centered design principles
  • Preference for candidates with experience in mental health, healthcare, or technology industries
